So did you really think scoring a respectable GPA was all that is required of you, to become a competent engineer? If your answer was yes, then you are certainly driving down the wrong road.

Engineering is all about learning new concepts and then bringing those concepts into play. And the only way to do that during your academic days is through internships. What if we told you that you can actually get professional evaluation and feedback from globally renowned powerhouses such as NESCOM, FFC, ZTE, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), OGDCL and Zong among others for your internship experience? That is what INSPIRE’13 is all about!

What you’ve got to do to participate is simple. Make a poster depicting all that you’ve learned during your time as an intern and come present it here at the most vibrant campus of NUST, the H-12 Campus. And who knows? You just might be good enough to win a shield or maybe cash prizes worth Rs 50,000!

Why INSPIRE, you ask us? Well, apart from the electric atmosphere you’ll experience as enthusiastic students gather from around the country, the event provides you with a chance to learn from the experiences and knowledge of others, linked with your specific field of engineering of course, ensuring the fact that your expertise does not remain limited solely to your own internship. And that’s not all. Participation in INSPIRE will enable you to learn how to transform those tedious internship reports to a few concise points, hence improving your presentation skills. And those presentation skills combined with your knowledge may be the perfect recipe to impress renowned industrialists!

And what’s INSPIRE without an inspiring roll of Chief Guests. Engineer Iqbal from NESCOM, Engineer Parvez Butt (former chairman of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC)) and Rector NUST Engr Muhammad Asghar, are invited as chief-guests for the event
